<p>HYFIN Digital Host & Content Creator</p> <p>HYFIN, Milwaukee's Black-led digital-first HD2 radio station and cultural platform, is looking for a passionate, community-driven Part-Time Digital Host & Content Creator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a love for music, culture, and community storytelling - someone who feels just as comfortable behind a microphone as they do out in the city capturing content and connecting with people. As an essential brand ambassador for HYFIN, this person will read underwriting copy, host on-air segments, create digital-first content, represent the station at events, and help amplify HYFIN's voice in the community.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>On-Air Duties</p> <ul> <li>Host live and/or pre-recorded digital-first radio segments for the HYFIN platform </li><li>Read underwriting copy and deliver sponsor messages clearly and professionally </li><li>Interview artists, creatives, and culture leaders for on-air and digital features </li><li>Collaborate with the Program Director on scriptwriting, scheduling, and audio production </li></ul> <p>Content Creation & Community Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Generate culturally relevant, original content in the community that aligns with HYFIN's brand and social media strategy </li><li>Capture photos, videos, and social-ready content from community events, pop-ups, and artist activations </li><li>Assist with staffing tables and representing HYFIN at community events, concerts, festivals, and local functions </li><li>Serve as a visible and positive brand ambassador, engaging with listeners, supporters, and partners authentically </li><li>Participate in station campaigns, social media takeovers, and promotional videos as needed </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Strong on-air presence and clear, engaging speaking voice </li><li>Experience or interest in content creation for social media (video, photo, interviews, storytelling) </li><li>Comfortable interacting with the public at events and engaging with diverse communities </li><li>Good understanding of music, Black culture, and community issues, particularly in Milwaukee </li><li>Ability to work flexible, part-time hours including evenings and weekends </li></ul> <p>Qualities We Love:</p> <ul> <li>Energetic, charismatic, and community-minded </li><li>Culturally fluent with a genuine love for music, people, and storytelling </li><li>Reliable, professional, and team-oriented </li><li>Self-motivated and eager to grow with a culture-driven platform </li></ul>
