<p>PURPOSE STATEMENT:</p> <p>Responsible for the coordination and support of the accounting processes.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability or other financial activities within the facility. </li><li>Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. </li><li>Analyze financial data in order to prepare financial reports. </li><li>Prepare and examine financial reports to ensure the records are accurate and timely. </li><li>Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. </li><li>Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations. </li><li>Prepare month end journal entries and GL account reconciliations within established time frame. </li><li>Prepare required financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis as required. </li><li>Ensure the financial records are accurate and filed timely. </li></ul> <p>OTHER FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required. </li><li>Two years' accounting experience in a healthcare setting required. </li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required. </li></ul> <p>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Not Applicable </li></ul> <p>We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual's characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p>
