<p>Sewer, Water and Drain</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Dig holes, trenches and other excavations. </li><li>Shovel materials and leveling areas. </li><li>Cleaning out sewers and catch basins. </li><li>Loading and unloading supplies, moving furniture, cleaning litter and debris from streets, runways, and parking lots. </li><li>Assist in placing and holding heavy items in place. </li><li>Mowing grass using hand or powered equipment, trimming shrubs and lower parts of trees along sidewalks and highways. </li><li>Removing snow and ice using manual or small powered equipment, spreading sand on icy areas. </li><li>Perform laboring duties for skilled craftsmen but not as a helper or apprentice nor for the purpose of learning the trade. </li><li>Use standard hand tools, i.e., shovels, picks, axes, saws, heavy wrenches and small power tools. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalency </li><li>Valid Massachusetts Driver's License </li></ul> <p>Salary</p> <p>Start $952 Step 30 $1,143</p> <p>Applying for the Position</p> <p>To apply for the position, please visit the Submitting an Application for Employment Page.
