<p>Visiting Professor of Government. The Department of Government at Wesleyan University seeks applicants for a one-year visiting position in American politics during the 2025-2026 academic year beginning September 1, 2025. We welcome applications from Americanists with any specialization within the subfield. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment (September 1, 2025) to be hired as a Professor; a successful candidate may be hired as an Instructor if the candidate does not have a Ph.D. in hand at the time of application. The teaching load is 3-2, including two sections of an introductory American politics course, two survey courses, and a seminar on a topic of the visitor's choice.
