<p>The Vacuum Truck Operator is responsible for servicing portable toilets, hand wash stations, and holding tanks using a vacuum truck. This role is primarily a driving and sanitation position that involves routine cleaning, waste removal, refilling supplies, and ensuring all units are serviced safely, efficiently, and professionally.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operate a vacuum truck to service portable toilets, hand wash stations, and holding tanks</p> </li><li> <p>Pump, clean, deodorize, and restock units according to company and environmental standards</p> </li><li> <p>Transport waste material to approved disposal facilities in compliance with regulations</p> </li><li> <p>Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections (pre- and post-trip)</p> </li><li> <p>Complete required driver logs and service documentation accurately and on time</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain cleanliness of truck, hoses, tools, and equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Provide professional, courteous service while representing the company at customer sites</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all company safety policies and environmental compliance requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Work independently while managing daily routes and service schedules</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and near-miss reporting</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience operating a vacuum truck or similar equipment is preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Strong work ethic and ability to perform hands-on, physical work</p> </li><li> <p>Safety-focused mindset with attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Good organizational skills and ability to complete paperwork accurately</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to accept after-hours calls when required</p> </li><li> <p>Some short-term travel and occasional overnight stays may be required</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be in good physical condition and able to perform manual labor</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift hoses, operate valves, and work around waste materials</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred (Assets)</p> <ul> <li> <p>First Aid/CPR</p> </li><li> <p>Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)</p> </li><li> <p>H2S Alive</p> </li><li> <p>CSTS</p> </li></ul> <p>#GFLTalent</p> <p>We thank you for your interest.
