Final compensation is based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Provide an excellent customer service experience to members and prospects. </li><li>Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. </li><li>Manage effectively large amounts of incoming calls. </li><li>Engage members to help build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication. </li><li>Interact with customers in person, telephone, or email in order to provide information about membership, programs and services in a manner that is prompt, warm and friendly. </li><li>Address membership complaints and comments providing appropriate solutions and follow-up to ensure resolution and member satisfaction. </li><li>Other tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community. </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent experience and or education. </li><li>Must be able to communicate well, have good human relation skills, and have a general knowledge of office routines. </li><li>Must be able to stand for periods of time, give prospective members tours throughout the facility, answer telephones, and typing member information into the computer. </li><li>Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic. </li></ul> <p>segments of the community.</p> <ul> <li>Previous customer service, sales, or related experience. </li><li>Basic knowledge of computers. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualification:</p> <ul> <li>Multi-Lingual </li></ul> <p>The YMCA of Delaware is an equal opportunity employer.
