<p>Req#: R35748</p> <p>Category(s): Trades/Engineering/Facilities, Driver</p> <p>Full Time / Part Time: Full-Time</p> <p>Shift: First</p> <p>Summary Description:</p> <p>This position is responsible for the pick up and transportation of Pharmaceuticals to and from BH's Retail//Specialty Pharmacies to BH's Pharmacy clients, patients and hospital/practice affiliates. This position will be responsible for delivering medications and other medication-related items deemed necessary by the Courier Lead and/or Dispatch. This position may require flexibility with shift schedule, as well as rotation of weekend, holidays and route schedule. This position may also require flexibility regarding the safe transport of patients.</p> <p>Job Requirments:</p> <p>1) Must be 100% accurate in understanding routes, transportation software, and medication delivery requirements.</p> <p>2) Must be able to complete all courier routes with minimal supervision as required.</p> <p>3) Must be able to perform assigned duties requested by Lead Courier and/or Dispatch as required with 100% accuracy.</p> <p>4) Must be able to maintain medication integrity during transport.</p> <p>5) Must have the ability to transport patients in a safe manner.</p> <p>6) Must have the ability to transport patients in a safe manner.</p> <p>Minimally Required Experience:</p> <p>1-2 years experience as a courier/transportation or equivalent.</p> <p>Valid Drivers License - Position subject to additional requirements (BH-HR-902 Fleet Policy)</p> <p>Proficient or above evaluations</p> <p>No accidents unless no fault</p> <p>No written warnings</p> <p>Skills/competencies:</p> <p>Must have basic computer skills</p> <p>Must be accurate with excellent organizational skills</p> <p>Must have good written and verbal communication skills</p> <p>Must have good customer service skills</p> <p>Must have good map reading skills</p> <p>Must be able to speak and write English</p> <p>Must be able to multi task</p> <p>Must be able to take verbal directions over phone</p> <p>Must be able to identify all customer supplies</p> <p>You Belong At Baystate</p> <p>At Baystate Health we know that treating one another with dignity and equity is what elevates respect for our patients and staff.
