<p>Cumberland Trace is now accepting applications for a Staff Development Coordinator (SDC) RN or LPN. We offer daily and weekly pay and great benefits.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>The Staff Development Coordinator at Cumberland Trace plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of patient care through effective staff training and development. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that ensure nursing staff are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills in patient care, wound care, and patient education. The coordinator will work closely with nursing staff to identify training needs and develop tailored programs that address these needs. By fostering a culture of continuous learning, the coordinator will help improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction. Ultimately, this role is vital in maintaining high standards of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement training programs for nursing staff focused on wound care, patient education, and overall patient care. </li><li>Conduct regular assessments to identify staff training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. </li><li>Collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure alignment of training initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Facilitate workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions to enhance staff competencies. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of training activities and staff progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice. </li><li>Proven experience in nursing with a focus on patient care and education. </li><li>Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in staff development or training within a healthcare setting. </li><li>Certification in wound care management. </li><li>Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills of wound care, patient education, and nursing expertise are essential for the Staff Development Coordinator to effectively train nursing staff.
