<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Fulfills the mission of Norwich University by being responsible for overseeing the comprehensive clinical placement operations and supporting student success for the Online Graduate Nursing Programs. Facilitates all clinical placements for Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) tracks, including Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGACNP, PMHNP), Nurse Educator, and Healthcare Systems Leadership tracks. Additionally, the role provides proactive advising, retention initiatives, and administrative support to undergraduate and graduate nursing students to ensure academic success.</p> <p>This is a 40 hour per week and 52 weeks per year 1.0 FTE position.</p> <p>Remote work schedule may be authorized.</p> <p>Salary: $23.00/hour or more depending on experience.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Manages all aspects of clinical placements, including preceptor credentialing, site application tracking, and student compliance with clinical requirements. </li><li>Coordinates placements for incoming and continuing students across MSN tracks. </li><li>Monitors student progress, including clinical hours and competency records, and conducts periodic audits. </li><li>Identifies and establishes new clinical site opportunities to meet program needs. </li><li>Maintains ongoing communication with healthcare organizations, preceptors, and partner institutions to build strong collaborative relationships. </li><li>Develops and maintains an online orientation for students, faculty, and preceptors regarding the clinical placement process. </li><li>Assists with accreditation and regulatory reporting by compiling and managing clinical placement data. </li><li>Maintains a working knowledge of MSN, BSN, and Post-Master's Certificate programs to better support, advise, and advocate for students. </li><li>Advises students proactively on academic, technical, administrative, and financial matters, including financial aid, VA benefits, and tuition assistance. </li><li>Develops and executes communication plans to engage students, including outreach to inactive students and those needing additional support. </li><li>Monitors student attendance, performance data, and classroom participation to identify and address potential retention issues. </li><li>Supports students transitioning back into the program and assists with withdrawal and re-enrollment decisions. </li><li>Manages student information in databases and ensures compliance and data integrity. </li><li>Calls and emails all students in their caseload during each session and provides timely, relevant information to address their needs. </li><li>Provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to MSN Program Coordinators, Specialty Track Coordinators, and clinical faculty. </li><li>Implements professional policies, standards, and procedures for practicum concentrations. </li><li>Utilizes CRM and database systems to track metrics such as conversion rates, withdrawal rates, and outreach efforts. </li><li>Troubleshoots issues and provides backup coverage as needed. </li></ul> <p>Other Functions</p> <ul> <li>Maintains confidentiality of sensitive or private information. </li><li>Communicates with employees, students, and others in a respectful and clear manner. </li><li>Serves on University committees, councils, workgroups, or other designated bodies as assigned. </li><li>Achieves, maintains proficiency in, and utilizes computers, telephones, and other job-related equipment, including related systems and software. </li><li>Speaks, reads, and writes in English. </li><li>Communicates by telephone, email, letter, in person, or other means or device. </li><li>Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree or equivalent. Bachelors or higher preferred. </li><li>1 year experience in customer support or customer service role. </li><li>Experience maintaining databases, organization, and project management </li><li>Experience in higher education is preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with Nursing field strongly desirable. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook). Experience with Microsoft Power Automated a plus. </li><li>Able to sit, squat, reach, push, pull, and manipulate related equipment; lift 15 pounds; travel outdoors to various parts of the campus </li><li>Infrequent evening or weekend hours </li></ul> <p>Environmental Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Indoor work at a computer workstation. </li><li>Low level of exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vibrations, and temperature changes. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Norwich University is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing a positive education and work environment that recognizes and respects the dignity of all students, faculty and staff.
