<p>As a P&D Supervisor, you will plan, direct, and control the Pickup and Delivery (P&D) operations in the terminal areas to provide customers with the best possible service in the most efficient and economical manner while meeting all Company standards and requirements. Provide training to P&D Drivers at regular intervals to ensure Company requirements and customer expectations are met. Ensure continuous measurable improvement in all processes and promote a safe and healthy work environment while keeping driver morale at a high level.</p> <p>Develop and organize productive and efficient routes to meet the needs of customers. Determine order in which freight is moved, make tractor assignments, set delivery schedule, and work with customers to resolve delivery and pick up problems. Determine number of drivers needed to deliver available freight. Evaluate P&D service to and from customers to ensure excellent delivery service and on-time pick ups. Train and develop P&D Drivers to ensure efficient operations according to Company standards and customer expectations. Serve as a role model by consistently practicing strong loss prevention techniques and conduct loss prevention and safety meetings at regular intervals.</p> <p>For this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or GED.
