No</p> <p>County Cayuga</p> <p>Street Address Cayuga Correctional Facility</p> <p>2202 State Route 38A</p> <p>City Moravia</p> <p>StateNY</p> <p>Zip Code13118</p> <p>Duties Description To be discussed at interview.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications OFFENDER REHABILITATION COORDINATOR (ASAT)/SG-19</p> <p>OFFENDER REHABILITATION COORDINATOR (ASAT) (SPANISH LANGUAGE)/SG-19</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications for taking the Open Competitive Examination:</p> <p>Either 1. a bachelor's degree, and current certification as a New York State Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), and one year of post certification experience as a group or individual counselor in a recognized alcohol and/or substance abuse treatment program providing ongoing counseling services in this area;</p> <p>Or 2. a specialized* bachelor's degree and two years of experience as a group or individual counselor in a recognized alcohol and/or substance abuse treatment program providing ongoing counseling services in this area;</p> <p>Or 3. a specialized* master's degree and one year of experience as a group or individual counselor in a recognized alcohol and/or substance abuse treatment program providing ongoing counseling services in this area.</p> <ul> <li>The specialized master's or bachelor's degree areas that are approved for this examination are: anthropology, audiology, chemical dependence administration, child development/family relations, community health and family studies, community mental health, correctional studies, counseling/guidance, criminal intelligence analysis, criminal investigations, criminal justice, criminology, education, gerontology, health administration, health education, human services, law enforcement leadership, nursing, nutrition, pastoral counseling, physical education, psychology, public justice, rehabilitation counseling, religious studies, social work, sociology, special education, speech pathology, therapeutic recreation, therapy (including art, dance, drama, music, occupational, physical and recreational), vocational counseling or vocational rehabilitation. </li></ul> <p>Qualifying Experience: To qualify for this examination, individual counseling experience must have involved the establishment of an ongoing, one-to-one relationship between the counselor and the client.
