Apply now and be a part of our mission!</p> <p>Principal Duties:</p> <p>Ensure assigned planning alerts are completed in a timely manner</p> <p>Ensure purchase orders are placed and expedited to meet target service level requirements</p> <p>Ensure parts are moved to regional distribution centers to maintain a 95% on hand vs. target stock level</p> <p>Ensure departmental goals for scrapping of excess inventory are met each year</p> <p>Responsible for the development of Tactical Planning Department to ensure objectives are reached</p> <p>Assist in developing yearly inventory goals including reserves</p> <p>Ensure proper controls within SAP Develop and maintain tactical planning, procedures and policies</p> <p>Develop and record performance criteria for tactical planner/buyers</p> <p>Recommend and coordinate system improvements</p> <p>Work closely with other Spares Supervisors to improve processes and communication</p> <p>Monitor/manage KPI's for Tactical Planning Department</p> <p>Other duties assigned by management to meet department objectives</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent aviation related experience</p> <p>Five (5) years of experience using computerized distribution or material planning/forecasting systems</p> <p>Five (5) years of material planning or logistics experience in aviation related field</p> <p>Three (3) years of demonstrated leadership skills or supervisory experience</p> <p>Advanced proficiency in PC Windows business software, Microsoft Office Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders</p> <p>Additional Desired Qualifications:</p> <p>Supply Chain certification</p> <p>Ability to read, write or speak French language</p> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Office environment</p> <p>Use of personal computers required</p> <p>Some travel (domestic and international) required</p> <p>Flexibility in work schedule including nights/weekends to meet scheduled deadlines</p> <p>Compensation and Benefits</p> <p>The compensation for this position typically falls between $90,000 and $105,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime.
