<p>Staffmark is seeking a skilled Process Engineer with experience in plastic extrusion to join a dynamic manufacturing team in West Chester, OH. This role focuses on optimizing extrusion processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring high product quality through data-driven problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.</p> <p>Salary: $95,000 - $110,000/year</p> <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design and improve extrusion processes to boost quality and efficiency </li><li>Develop SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation </li><li>Train operators and technicians on equipment, safety, and process best practices </li><li>Lead troubleshooting efforts and mentor team members on new technologies </li><li>Conduct FMEAs and root cause analyses to mitigate risks and resolve issues </li><li>Manage technical projects from concept to completion </li><li>Analyze production data to identify trends and drive process improvements </li><li>Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives </li><li>Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in plastic extrusion manufacturing (preferred) </li><li>Strong understanding of extrusion processes, polymers, and process control </li><li>Skilled in root cause analysis, FMEA, and process capability studies </li><li>Proficient in data analysis and structured problem-solving </li><li>Excellent communication and training skills </li><li>Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple priorities </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs </li><li>Prior hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment required </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Love This Job:</p> <p>Enjoy access to comprehensive benefits provided by our partner company upon hire.
