The role is responsible for partnering both within Finance and with teams within Retail Pharmacy to drive improvement in FP&A processes supporting Retail PharmacyThe Senior Manager of Retail Pharmacy FP&A will be the subject matter expert on FP&A modeling and analytics, with the ability to identify key business drivers within complex data sets. The role includes financial reporting, planning, and analysis of the Retail Pharmacy business. The Senior Manager of Retail Pharmacy FP&A will need to combine a highly analytical skillset, strong modeling capabilities, with the ability to clearly convey complex issues.Additionally, the role partners with Retail Payer Relations to support PBM/Payer deals being negotiated and accurate reflection of those contracts in financial Budget, Forecast, and Actual results. The role directly interfaces with Executive and Lead Directors throughout the Retail business and Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness segment.Implement solutions and drive projects to implement process or system enhancements. Support payer relations underwriting and negotiating team as cost of goods sold expertAnalyze the CVS CostVantage generic cost file (GCF) to ensure accuracy of published quarterly files to be distributed to contracted payers. Support the attestation process with the third-party vendor playing a critical role between the business and vendor ensuring timely completion of the quarterly attestationPartner with leaders across Retail Pharmacy on business initiatives or strategic projects, acting as a financial partner to evaluate their financial impact. Examples include store formats, product sourcing channel optimization, assessment of regulatory changes, etc.Support core FP&A processes for Retail Pharmacy gross margin. Examples include sizing variance drivers of actual results, identifying key variables in margin forecast/budget. Support ad hoc analysesRequired QualificationsThe candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company's business, as well as interaction with business leaders. The candidate will be expected to have the following key attributes:7+ years of Modeling, Forecasting, FP&AStrong analytical skillset and approach to problem solvingCombine highly analytical skillset with ability to clearly convey complex issuesAbility to focus on long-term, strategic goals while executing against short-term objectivesIdentify potential risks and subsequent mitigation strategies when developing recommendationsPreferred QualificationsAn understanding of the pharmacy and/or payer economicsEducationBachelor degree required, MBA preferredPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $182,549.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
