<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse</p> <p>Employment Type: Per Diem</p> <p>Shift: Day shift</p> <p>Location: Holy Cross Silve Spring</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>LPNs working in Dialysis and under the supervision of the RN will be proficient in provides dialytic therapy to patients with acute renal failure or end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support outpatient hemodialysis on-site.</p> <p>As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Observes safe practices and maintains a safe environment while caring for the patient. </li><li>Operates the unit communication systems, facilitates unit communication and relays messages appropriately (per HCH standard) including: emergency communications, patient needs, telephone and intercom communications, and other departmental communications. </li><li>Documents patient care/assessment data in the EMR including but not limited to: vital signs, patient status, treatments, education provided, assessment data, administration and effectiveness of medication, IV therapy. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent (required) </li><li>Licensed Practical Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing (required) </li></ul> <p>Pay Range:</p> <ul> <li>$23.97 - $33.56 per hour </li><li>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
