We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) with experience or interest in neurology to deliver patient-centered care and support the needs of our growing practice.</p> <p>Collaborating Physicians:</p> <p>Dr. Gorelov received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, NY. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Gorelov completed a Residency in Neurology at North Shore ââ'¬" Long Island Jewish Health System. Dr. Gorelov completed a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Virginia Health System, Charlottesville, VA.</p> <p>Dr. Asra S. Husain is a neurologist. She received her medical degree from NYIT College Of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Asra S. Husain has expertise in treating Alzheimer's dementia, Parkinson's disease, dementia, among other conditions.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments, including patient histories, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations. </li><li>Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions such as migraines, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and neuropathies. </li><li>Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. </li><li>Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests, including MRI, CT scans, EEG, and lab results, to inform patient care. </li><li>Provide patient education regarding conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications to optimize health outcomes. </li><li>Prescribe medications and therapies in compliance with state and federal regulations. </li><li>Collaborate with neurologists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care. </li><li>Perform follow-up evaluations and modify treatment plans as necessary. </li><li>Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system. </li><li>Stay up-to-date with advancements in neurology and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical protocols and patient care practices. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Current and unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner license. </li><li>National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP) in Adult, Family, or Acute Care. </li><li>Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. </li><li>Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with neurology experience preferred (new graduates with relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply). </li><li>Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) , preferably EPIC systems. </li><li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. </li><li>Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and performance-based incentives. </li><li>Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. </li><li>Paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and sick leave. </li><li>Continuing medical education (CME) allowance and reimbursement </li></ul> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>USD $66.55 - USD $90.00 /Hr.</p>
