With manufacturing sites in Europe and North America, and supported by SCHOTT's global sales network, we are a leading supplier of high-quality fiber optic and LED components.</p> <p>Your Contribution</p> <ul> <li>Operates a variety of cutting, generating grinding polishing, cleaning equipment and performs related job functions. </li><li>Operates one or more cutting, generating, grinding, polishing or cleaning equipment according to written process specifications, as well as to production standards. </li><li>Performs in-process visual and mechanical inspections; initiates corrective action or informs Group Leader or Supervisor of deviations from standards. </li><li>Performs TPM on required equipment, updates sheets as necessary. </li><li>Performs setups, start ups/shut downs and makes adjustments to machines. </li><li>Completes labor sheets, routers, log sheets, process forms and similar reports and forms. </li><li>Assists in the training of less qualified operators. </li><li>Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program. </li><li>Able to meet utilization targets and standard times. </li><li>Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer. </li><li>Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers. </li><li>Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures </li></ul> <p>Your Profile</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to read, write, and speak English. </li><li>Knowledge of gauging and measuring equipment preferred. </li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Self-motivated and results oriented. </li><li>Ability to work in a team oriented environment. </li><li>Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination. </li><li>Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required. </li></ul> <p>Hourly Pay Ranges: Level C ($19.00-$21.50); Level B ($22.00-$24.50); Level A ($25.00-$27.50)</p> <p>Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.</p> <p>Your Benefits</p> <p>At SCHOTT, you can expect a unique corporate culture where we emphasize equity, diversity, and inclusion.
