<p>The Global E-commerce, Seller Business team plays a critical role in driving the success of our Global E-commerce platform. We are dedicated to building and nurturing a thriving ecosystem of local and abroad sellers who bring diverse products, brands, and innovations to our marketplace on TikTok.</p> <p>The team is focused on building scalable platforms and services that support the growth and success of merchants, creators, and business partners within a global e-commerce ecosystem. We develop systems that improve operational efficiency, strengthen collaboration between ecosystem participants, and enhance the overall platform experience.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the technical design and development of scalable backend systems supporting agency and merchant ecosystem growth initiatives. </li><li>Drive platform reliability and product experience improvements through monitoring, alerting, operational tooling, and performance optimization. </li><li>Architect and evolve systems supporting merchant enablement, agency collaboration, and large-scale matchmaking capabilities across the platform ecosystem. </li><li>Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across governance, seller operations, financial systems, and platform infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions. </li><li>Contribute to long-term platform strategy, technical roadmap planning, and architecture evolution for complex e-commerce business domains.Minimum Qualifications: </li><li>Proficiency in backend software development using Go and/or Java, with strong coding fundamentals and software engineering best practices. </li><li>Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems, asynchronous services, and high-concurrency applications. </li><li>Strong understanding of data systems and database technologies, including relational databases, Elasticsearch, Hive, or similar large-scale data platforms. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to optimize system performance, data models, and service reliability in complex production environments. </li><li>Experience leading system design and architectural planning for large-scale platforms and business-critical systems. </li><li>Ability to abstract complex business problems into scalable technical solutions and drive long-term platform evolution. </li><li>Strong business acumen with the ability to partner cross-functionally and align technical solutions to business goals, operational workflows, and user experience needs. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>E-commerce industry experience is preferred. </li></ul>
