<p>Quabbin Regional High School is seeking certified educators to provide intensive and targeted instruction during our credit recovery programming.</p> <p>Ability to:</p> <ul> <li>plan instruction and assessments focused on a limited number of priority standards. </li><li>build strong relationships with students </li><li>personalize instruction to meet the abilities and needs of individual students </li><li>provide frequent and timely feedback to students focused on improvement and growth </li><li>collaborate and communicate with colleagues, students, and families to determine best practices and strategies for improving student achievement </li><li>implement culturally and linguistically responsive teaching strategies </li><li>implement strong classroom management practices </li><li>regularly report student progress and complete student record and data collection </li></ul> <p>Requirements: Highly qualified, MA certified teachers in English, Math, History, Science, and Special Education 9-12 Preference will be given to Quabbin Regional School District employees.</p> <p>Courses to be offered: English 9/10 Algebra 2</p> <p>Credit Recovery sessions will run for 3 hours per day (Monday through Thursday) for 5 weeks from July 7 through August 7. Morning sessions will be held from 8:00am - 11:00am and afternoon sessions will be held from 11:30am - 2:30pm.</p> <p>Educators may apply to teach one or two courses.</p> <p>Potential for educators to share a position.</p> <p>One hour paid prep time will be provided each day.</p> <p>Pay: $40.00 per hour.</p> <p>Number of positions based on enrollment.</p> <p>Grant Funded</p>
