<p>Summary of Duties:</p> <p>The Commercial HVAC Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for both accurately estimating commercial HVAC projects and managing them through to successful completion. This role combines technical cost estimation with hands-on project oversight, requiring strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare cost estimates from concept through basic design for project bidding and planning purposes. </li><li>Review cost records, ensure accurate allocation, and update organizational cost standards based on market conditions. </li><li>Track market prices for construction materials, equipment, and labor to maintain competitive estimates. </li><li>Review project documentation, visit sites, and gather data to determine scope and requirements. </li><li>Select, measure, and analyze key metrics to prepare reliable forecasts and adjust estimates or schedules as needed. </li><li>Conduct risk analysis and evaluate vendor/subcontractor offers, maintaining long-term relationships with key partners. </li><li>Create and present project and cost reports to executives, ensuring alignment with company goals. </li><li>Develop and adjust project schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and make informed decisions to keep projects on track. </li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams to maintain workflow synergy. </li><li>Perform quality control throughout project development to ensure compliance with standards. </li><li>Be available for additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in business management or related fields. </li><li>Leadership experience </li></ul> <p>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:</p> <ul> <li>Professional Management Professional certification preferred. </li><li>Valid Driver's License to include active liability insurance. </li><li>Successful completion of required criminal record and motor vehicle record background checks. </li><li>Ability to pass a drug screening. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements & Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in a fast pace environment. </li><li>Ability to multitask. </li><li>Moderate noise levels. </li><li>Ability to operate office equipment such as fax, phones, computers. </li><li>Ability to travel to construction, job and warehouse sites </li><li>Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Language Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to effectively communicate with staff, management and clients. </li><li>Ability to interact with others with positive professionalism. </li><li>Ability to accurately read and understand technical instructions. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Leadership Skills </li><li>Problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to delegate effectively </li><li>Decisiveness </li><li>Skill in the use and care of the standard tools and equipment in the construction trade </li><li>Excellent client-facing and internal communication skill. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Analytical skills. </li><li>Time Management skills. </li><li>Ability to adapt and take on new assignments as needed. </li><li>Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. </li><li>Proficient in computer software and operation including Microsoft Office products. </li><li>Capable of handling multiple tasks and assignments with time constraints. </li><li>Ability to work in constant state of alertness. </li><li>Must be reliable, punctual and trustworthy. </li><li>Reflect attendance dependability. </li><li>Maintain professionalism at all times. </li></ul>
