<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The role of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction is to provide systemic support to meet the needs of students, teachers, administrators, and Board members in light of standards, current research, and student performance.</p> <p>Directs and provides leadership in the ongoing development, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all phases and elements of the curriculum.</p> <p>Certifications/Qualifications:</p> <p>Minimum of ten years of successful experience in education and administration. Some administrative experience at the Central Office level is preferred, but not required.</p> <p>Requires Connecticut certification in Administration or Supervision (092)</p> <p>Reports to:</p> <p>Superintendent of Schools</p> <p>Qualification Requirements:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
