<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Registered Nurse - Infusion</p> <p>SHIFT: FT Days</p> <p>M-F/8hr shifts</p> <p>Monday - Friday (0700-1530) No weekends! No holidays! No on-call!</p> <p>Join our team of experienced infusion nurses!</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Perform patient assessments, including medical history, current health condition, and treatment goals.</p> <p>Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.</p> <p>Maintain IV lines, ports, and PICC lines.</p> <p>Administer IV medications, fluids, injections, and blood transfusions.</p> <p>Administer therapeutic treatments and monitor patient response following guidelines and protocols.</p> <p>Educate patients and families about their treatment, including possible side effects.</p> <p>Work closely with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to provide a safe patient outcome.</p> <p>Basic knowledge of insurance authorization and appointment scheduling.</p> <p>What you will need:</p> <ul> <li>A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York </li><li>Registered Nurses must possess the ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene and evaluate patient care </li><li>The RN must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written </li><li>MINIMUM of 1 year of RN experience </li><li>BLS Required. ACLS preferred. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $36.50-$49.95hr</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
