This position will be based in InterDigital's Wilmington, Delaware office and will report to the Head of Legal Operations.</p> <p>The successful candidate must have: five or more years of previous experience working within a Legal Department; knowledge of legal e-billing tools and processes; strong communication skills; passion for rendering customer-service oriented support; and the ability to think critically, problem-solve, meet deadlines, manage competing priorities and deliver high quality work product. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic culture with many challenges and opportunities and is execution-focused, detailed oriented and exceptional at working cross-functionally with professionals throughout the InterDigital organization.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Job Functions: The position incumbent will be responsible for carrying out the following functions and tasks:</p> <p>Legal Invoicing & Vendor Management - 30%</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide the day-to-day management of matters in Legal Tracker, including new matter creation, first level review of invoices, and report creation.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure a timely and smooth onboarding process for new legal vendors.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide the primary day-to-day support and resolution of questions, errors, or other issues for legal vendors (e.g., law firms, experts, legal service providers).</p> </li><li> <p>Active collaboration and communication with colleagues in finance, accounting, information systems, patents and legal globally.</p> </li></ul> <p>Legal Project Management - 40%</p> <p>Provide project management support for Legal Department process and technology initiatives as directed by the Head of Legal Operations.</p> <p>This may include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and status reporting.</p> </li><li> <p>Fostering collaboration and accountability across stakeholders to ensure timely execution.</p> </li><li> <p>Applying structured problem-solving and prioritizing action to keep projects moving forward</p> </li><li> <p>Champion technology solutions, automation, and AI-driven tools to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.</p> </li><li> <p>Actively identify inefficiencies, and support process improvement initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Document and standardize processes to enable consistency and knowledge sharing.</p> </li><li> <p>Support training and enablement for new systems, processes and workflows.</p> </li></ul> <p>Litigation Support - 30%</p> <p>Provide support to the InterDigital Litigation Team that includes the following:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Active management of team communications, organization, and filing of legal pleadings</p> </li><li> <p>Support the management of document collections and discovery processes, coordinating with internal teams, outside counsel, and vendors</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitating legalizations and coordinating notarizations of corporate documents as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Communicating with outside counsel, experts and consultants as instructed</p> </li><li> <p>Performing legal research or preparing documents as instructed</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>A minimum of 5 years of previous experience working within a corporate legal department, law firm, or legal service provider as a paralegal and/ or in a legal operations role, preferably in litigation, the technology sector or a highly regulated industry.</p> </li><li> <p>A minimum education requirement of an Associate's Degree. A Paralegal certification and/or Bachelor's Degree preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong written and verbal communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and deliver high quality work-product, balancing a high level of attention to detail with timely execution</p> </li><li> <p>Experience operating with attention to detail and rendering customer-service oriented support</p> </li><li> <p>A curious mindset, adaptable approach, and independent problem-solving abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with legal technology, with knowledge and experience using legal e-billing tools, preferably Legal Tracker.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini).</p> </li><li> <p>A minimum of 3 years of legal project management experience.
