<p>This position helps make gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church.</p> <p>Individuals who qualify and accept and accept a position as an industrial sewing machine operator will work within a team performing stand up sewing to produce temple garments and temple clothing for members of the Church throughout the world. The nature of this work is physical demanding and fast-paced. This position contributes to the mission of the Church supporting members as they make and keep Temple covenants</p> <p>Assemble materials into a finished garment product following established sewing processes</p> <p>100% of the incumbents time is spent meeting the following:</p> <ul> <li>Quality requirements </li><li>Production requirements </li><li>Maintain Church and Beehive Clothing employment standards </li><li>Operate and maintain industrial grade sewing machines </li></ul> <p>Applicants must successfully pass:</p> <ul> <li>Simple & Complex Dexterity Test </li><li>Industrial Sewing Machine Threading </li><li>Sewing Test (fabric handling and following instructions) </li><li>Interviews </li><li>Assessments </li></ul> <p>This position requires the ability to:</p> <ul> <li>Stand and move throughout the shift </li><li>Communicate in English effectively with a team </li><li>Perform fast, repetitive movements for a minimum of 8 hours per day </li><li>Periodically bend, twist, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs. </li><li>Work overtime, if needed, based on production needs </li></ul>
