<p>General Summary</p> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>With three campuses along Colorado's Front Range, FRCC is the state's largest community college. We enroll close to 28,000 students annually from our diverse service area, which offers a variety of cultural and recreational activities.</p> <p>Each year approximately 5,000 FRCC students transfer to four-year universities and FRCC offers more than 36 career training programs that prepare students for immediate employment and rewarding careers. Last year, more than 5,000 high school students took concurrent enrollment classes with us, earning college credit without having to pay college tuition. We're looking to hire people who share these values-along with our commitment to student success, equity and excellence.</p> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>FRCC's Integrated Building Design Bachelor's of Applied Science is the only program of its kind in Colorado, offering a fully online, flexible pathway to careers in the design, build, and construction industries. Our expert instructors and faculty-licensed professionals with real-world experience-deliver industry-aligned instruction using standard software and practices. Through hands-on, practical projects and collaborative learning, students gain the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in integrated building design.</p> <p>As a part-time instructor in the Integrated Building Design Department, you will provide instruction in all levels of integrated building design, including certificate and/or transfer levels. You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students' critical thinking skills.</p> <p>You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College.</p> <p>This program and position are primarily online/remote, but you may be required to occasionally travel to and/or be in-person at all three campuses (i.e., trainings, meetings, in-services).</p> <p>Please note: You need to be a Colorado resident on your first day of employment. Also, Front Range Community College is an E-Verify employer.</p> <p>SALARY:The pay range for Part-Time Instructors varies, depending on the type of course, the contact ratio and contact hours. Completed application package includes:</p> <ul> <li>A resume; </li><li>A letter of interest; </li><li>A copy of official transcripts; </li><li>A one-page statement of your teaching philosophy; and </li><li>A list of courses and the semesters you have taught. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education/Training & Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>A Master's degree in one of several related degrees listed below plus 4000 verified occupational/industry hours within seven (7) years. </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>A Master's degree in any field, plus 18 graduate credits in one of the related degrees listed below plus 2000 verified occupational/industry hours within seven (7) years. </li></ul> <p>Related Degree:Architectural Engineering, Architecture (design, drafting), Engineering, Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction, Construction Management, Building Science, Interior Design. Industry license or certification such as registered architect, NCCER, General Contract License or related Business Ownership/License.</p> <p>Equivalent Experience:Bachelor's degree in a related field plus five (5) years of industry experience in a creative field and related to the subject matter specific to courses being taught.</p> <p>Welcoming.
