<p>Title of Position:</p> <p>Summer Special Education Teacher-Specialized Programs (Integrated Pre-K, Pathways, Learning Center, Connections, Tutoring, Post Grad)</p> <p>Work Year:</p> <p>Summer 2026</p> <p>Location/Hours:</p> <p>Goodnow (K-5): 8:15-1:45 (includes prep time)</p> <p>MHS (6-PG): 7:45-1:15 (includes prep time)</p> <p>Effective Dates of Employment:</p> <p>Integrated Pre-K, Pathways, Learning Center, Connections, Tutoring, & Post Grad Programs</p> <ul> <li>July 6, 2026 - July 31, 2026 (Monday - Friday - 4 weeks) </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>Integrated PreK, Pathways, Learning Center, Connections, Tutoring, & Post Grad Programs</p> <ul> <li>$5,000 Stipend (4 weeks, includes onsite summer work & prep) </li></ul> <p>Organizational Relationship:</p> <p>Reports to the Summer School Building Administrator, Summer Supervisor for Special Education and Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and Equity</p> <p>Statement of Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Plan, prepare for and provide instruction in accordance with student IEPs to prevent substantial regression of previously learned material</p> </li><li> <p>Provide a short student summary report of student performance, as well as any student data at the conclusion of the summer program</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for other general duties as indicated by the Summer Administrators, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and policies of the Marlborough School</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Licensed by the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education as a Moderate or Severe Needs Special Education Teacher for the appropriate grade level </li><li>Bachelor's or higher earned academic degree </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>It is the policy of the Marlborough Public Schools not to discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin, color, homelessness, sexual orientation, gender identity, age or disability in its education programs, services, activities, or employment practices.</p>
