<p>Kforce's client in Edison, New Jersey (NJ) is looking for a Workday Director 5 days onsite for a 6-month contract to hire position.</p> <p>Summary: The client will implement Workday HR, Finance and Supply chain in a big bang approach with a planned go live of 4/1/2027. After that implementation, they will expand use of Workday into their medical and nursing schools to implement the WD student module. The client needs someone who has successfully implemented that.</p> <p>Key Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Workday Director will manage the implementation of the ERP Workday Solution </li><li>Ensure all development teams are working together and communicating effectively; Communicate with the teams with the team </li><li>Coordinate with operational and technical teams to gather, translate, and implement business requirements while ensuring the ERP platform meets operation's needs </li><li>Manage overall systems design, architecture, deployment, support, and all life-cycle management activities, methodologies, and processes </li><li>Manage project activities and costs and interact with project leads internally and externally to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets; Ensure that a robust governance is defined and followed </li><li>Lead application analysis assignments, including detailed project plans, user interviews, definition of business requirements, research of manual/automated applications, and recommendations for supported functional business areas </li><li>Create and implement best practices for support and life-cycle management, including but not limited to policies, processes, and procedures </li><li>Ensure teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and tools to deliver solutions in line with user expectations and establish realistic estimates for timelines, ensuring projects remain on target to meet goals* Knowledge of Workday is a key requirement as well as is the operational knowledge of the HR, Finance and Supply Chain departments </li><li>Engagement Manager </li><li>ERP Specialist </li><li>HCM </li><li>Financials </li><li>Supply Chain </li><li>The candidate would need to have been deeply in the implementation designing and leading the configuration of the solution in partnership with our system integration consultant team </li><li>Strong communicator, can collaborate and navigate conflict, has strong project management skills </li><li>Able to recommend best practices </li><li>Workday Certifications highly desired </li><li>Business process configuration highly preferred </li><li>Workday Student big plus </li></ul>
