The Model Maker I will be mentored and supported by team</p> <p>members on project work and customer interactions.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Surface parts and fit components for assemblies. </li><li>Develop composite tooling and molds. </li><li>Create foam plank build-ups. </li><li>Laminate with epoxy resins and carbon composites. </li><li>Participate in vac-form disciplines. </li><li>Operate shop equipment, including hand tools, and perform preventive maintenance. </li><li>Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience (required):</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>2+ previous experience required. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience (preferred):</p> <ul> <li>Certificate in Autobody, Automotive Technology or related. </li><li>Valid driver"s license. </li></ul> <p>Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (required):</p> <ul> <li>Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment. </li><li>Good attention to detail and organizational skills. </li><li>Able to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Has own tools with toolbox. </li><li>Ability to read, comprehend and execute written and verbal instructions. </li></ul> <p>.</p> <p>Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (preferred):</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends. </li></ul> <p>Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
