The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is seeking motivated Semi-Skilled Laborers to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the buildings and grounds at the Southeastern Veterans' Center, helping to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all. Additional duties include painting, assisting maintenance staff, and loading and unloading materials. All work must be completed in accordance with DMVA general safety guidelines and the specific safety requirements for this position. Assignments are provided daily based on scheduled preventive maintenance programs and operational needs.</p> <p>Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.</p> <p>Work Schedule and Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Full-time employment, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week </li><li>Work hours are 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM), Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. </li><li>Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. </li><li>Salary: The starting salary for new Commonwealth employees is the fixed, non-negotiable minimum listed above. </li><li>You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
