This position collaborates with various departments to ensure data-driven strategies that enhance academic excellence, operational efficiency, and student success.</p> <p>Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:</p> <ol> <li>Data Management and Analysis </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive data systems to ensure accurate and timely collection of institutional data.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze trends in enrollment, retention, graduation rates, student demographics, faculty and staff metrics, financial data, and other key performance indicators.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide actionable insights through detailed reports and presentations to inform institutional strategies and policies.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Reporting and Compliance </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare and submit required reports to accrediting agencies, state and federal entities, and other stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to data privacy, reporting, and institutional accreditation.</p> </li><li> <p>Stay updated on changes in reporting requirements and implement necessary adjustments to data collection and reporting processes.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>Strategic Planning Support </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with senior leadership to define and track institutional goals and objectives.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide data-driven recommendations to support long-term strategic planning and resource allocation.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor progress towards strategic initiatives and assess their impact on institutional performance.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="4"> <li>Collaboration and Communication </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as a liaison between institutional research and various academic and administrative departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making across the institution.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner to diverse audiences, including faculty, administration, and external stakeholders.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="5"> <li>Team Leadership and Development </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Manage and mentor the institutional research team, fostering professional growth and development.</p> </li><li> <p>Assign tasks, set performance goals, and evaluate team performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Encourage a collaborative and innovative work environment to enhance the effectiveness of the institutional research function.</p> </li></ul> <p>Who We're Looking For</p> <p>We're seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Statistics, Data Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.</p> </li><li> <p>A minimum of two (2) years of experience in institutional research or a similar role within the higher education sector.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to manage and execute research projects that inform institutional strategies and decision-making processes.</p> </li><li> <p>A Doctoral Degree is highly preferred, showcasing advanced expertise and dedication to the field.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with institutional research databases and systems (e.g., Workday, Banner, PeopleSoft, CRM platforms).</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced statistical analysis skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>We offer more than just a competitive salary of $80,318.51 - $86,743.99 annually.
