If you are looking to join a great organization and an opportunity to become a part of our growing team, this may be the job for you!</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Manage department by providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all Company activities that will assist management and other users in making educated economic decisions about the Company's future.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department including:</p> </li><li> <p>Accounts payable, ensuring timely payments of vendor invoices and maintaining accurate records and control reports</p> </li><li> <p>Accounts receivable to ensure accurate invoicing and prompt collection of sales revenues</p> </li><li> <p>Fixed asset management, including tracking, depreciation, and disposals</p> </li><li> <p>Pricing system and implementation of pricing strategies</p> </li><li> <p>Risk mitigation strategies involving commodities, foreign currency, and interest rates</p> </li><li> <p>Commissions, rebate calculations, and related financial records</p> </li><li> <p>Payroll and benefit invoice reconciliation</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee monthly and year-end closings of the general ledger including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accrual calculations</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare comprehensive financial statements in compliance with US GAAP guidelines and requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain robust internal controls over financial and banking transactions, processes and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, facilitating audits and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Attend and participate in regular meetings; aid in leading internal accounting meetings as well as occasional cross-company presentations</p> </li><li> <p>Audit current financial practices and controls for integrity and compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Provide and maintain reporting for sales, operations, and executive management to make data-driven decisions</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence</p> </li><li> <p>Other tasks and duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA or Masters in Accounting preferred) </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role </li><li>Expert knowledge of accounting and financial principles, regulations and best practices </li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles, compliance regulations, and financial reporting </li><li>Proven leadership skills with the capability to drive processes and ensure accuracy </li><li>Experience with large-scale ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and expert Excel skills preferred but not required </li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills </li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities with strong interpersonal skills </li><li>Detailed oriented, self-starter with the ability to deal with multiple challenges and projects simultaneously with minimal supervision </li><li>Ability to travel to our other facilities when needed </li></ul>
