<p>Exceptions Analyst</p> <p>Pay: $13.75/hour + Potential for Performance-based Bonus</p> <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm</p> <p>LOCATION: In Office, Remote, Hybrid</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The purpose of an Exceptions Specialist is to look into abnormalities that appear on our client's bills. As a Utility Expert you will learn to decipher when meter reads and other information on the bills seems to be out of the ordinary. You will be a part of a team that has the potential to make a big impact on our clients. For example, in 2022 we were able to save our clients a combined total of $2,381,327.63!!!</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>As an Exceptions Specialist, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Research and resolve anomalies in utility provider bills. </li><li>Communicate with utility providers and clients through email and on the phone. </li><li>Determine the best course of action to resolve issues and contacting the necessary party. </li><li>Detect inefficient processes and find innovative solutions </li><li>Medium phone usage-outbound calls with providers and clients, 25-50% of your day. </li></ul> <p>Preferred-Skills</p> <ul> <li>Attention to detail </li><li>Ability to explain complex ideas, both verbally and written, using clear, professional language </li><li>Ability to prioritize time well and push yourself to consistently achieve higher goals </li><li>Problem-solving skills - ability to independently use the resources and tools provided to you </li><li>Comfortable using a computer, Google Drive, and Excel </li><li>Committed to quickly learning and adapting to new computer software </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines </li></ul>
