<p>Job Description</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Join IU Health, Indiana's #1 Healthcare system!</p> <p>IU Health North in Carmel, IN is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Team Lead to support daily cath lab operations while remaining hands-on with patient care. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse or Radiology / Interventional Radiology Technologist with strong cardiac cath experience who enjoys leadership, coordination, and a fast-paced procedural environment.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Scrub and circulate for all types of cardiac catheterization procedures </li><li>Provide direct patient care and support throughout procedures </li><li>Staff the cath lab and manage daily case schedules and patient flow </li><li>Coordinate department traffic control to ensure efficient throughput </li><li>Oversee inventory management and supply readiness </li><li>Precept and support onboarding of new staff </li><li>Collaborate with physicians, departments, and leadership to maintain smooth daily operations </li><li>Serve as a clinical and operational resource for the team </li></ul> <p>Schedule & Call</p> <ul> <li>4 ten-hour shifts (4×10s), Monday-Friday </li><li>Hours: 6:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. </li><li>Self-scheduling model </li><li>No regularly scheduled nights or weekends </li><li>On-call: ~9 call shifts per month (subject to department needs) </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree is required. </li><li>Requires 3-5 years of cardiac/cath lab experience. </li><li>RN or Radiology/Interventional Radiology Technologist </li><li>Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. </li><li>Requires advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification. </li><li>Recommended Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Certification or equivalent. </li><li>Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. </li></ul>
