<p>Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician-owned and managed primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Estero, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Phone Triage (LPN/CMA) for our Pediatrics division located in Fort Myers, FL. Schedule is Monday-Friday, Day Shift with Alternating Weekend Coverage.</p> <p>Sample of Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Review daily provider-patient schedule with Clinical Coordinator and clinical team to prioritize triage to plan for an efficient flow of patient care. </li><li>Triage daily patient phone calls in order of priority to ensure acute care needs are addressed by an appropriate health care professional in a timely manner. </li><li>Perform medication prior authorizations. </li><li>Assist patients in scheduling preventative services. </li><li>Assist with patient education as needed. </li><li>Assist in contacting patients with abnormal lab/test results and schedule follow-up as ordered by the providers when requested. </li><li>Assist clinical staff as needed to avoid interruption of delivery of services to patients. </li><li>Counsel patients regarding lab tests, medications, procedures, etc. as requested by physicians. </li><li>Schedule referrals and appointments for specialized testing and procedures as requested. </li><li>Performs general nursing care to patients.
