With a general understanding of both gasoline and diesel engines, this position completes diagnosis, maintenance, and repair on a wide variety of vehicles and light/heavy equipment. This skilled position works roadside and throughout all facility areas; ensures all working areas are clean and fully functioning and maintains safety and professionalism as priorities in all aspects of daily work.</p> <p>Salary for the Heavy Equipment Mechanic I position is dependent on qualifications and experience.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent and/or 2 years prior relevant experience. Any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered for the minimum qualifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be at least 18 years of age.</p> </li><li> <p>Must possess a minimum of two (2) years prior verifiable mechanical experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Class B Arkansas Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
