<p>Summary of Position</p> <ul> <li>Manage the day-to-day sales activities of the Direct to Consumer and Individual markets (Medicaid, Child Health Plus, The </li></ul> <p>Essential Plan and QHP) and implement any strategic or tactical plans.</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with the Regional Sales Leader, Government Assisted Program (GAP), Enrollment and Customer Service to </li></ul> <p>ensure high levels of service and responsiveness.</p> <p>Principal Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Implement the overall direction of product distribution to grow the current block of business. </li><li>Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and AVP in monitoring the sales performance of the Individual products </li></ul> <p>and implement any strategic or tactical adjustments.</p> <ul> <li>Manage the daily, weekly and monthly production report and make sure that each rep reaches their monthly new and </li></ul> <p>renewal goals by matching it with the completed and effectuated 834 State file.</p> <ul> <li>Work with the Regional Sales Leader regarding the changes within the regulatory environment and its impact on the </li></ul> <p>Individual products; implement appropriate marketing strategies to ensure regulatory compliance.</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with Regional Sales Leader in the implementation of strategies that will enhance our enrollment </li></ul> <p>opportunities with Community Based Organizations.</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate efforts and work collaboratively with all applicable departments that support the product to achieve high </li></ul> <p>levels of customer satisfaction and member retention.</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for ensuring the team achieves all sales and retention goals. </li><li>Hire, train, supervise, motivate, discipline and provide the overall direction to the Individual Sales staff. </li><li>Regular attendance is an essential function of the job. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned or required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education, Training, Licenses, Certifications</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS required. </li></ul> <p>Relevant Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>5 - 8+ years of previous sales management experience for a major health insurance carrier, particularly one which is focused </li></ul> <p>on direct-to-consumer sales activities.</p> <ul> <li>Additional experience/specialized training/certifications may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements. </li><li>Demonstrated success in leading an effective, competitive sales management in a direct sales environment, with a track </li></ul> <p>record of achieving profitable growth</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual skills (verbal and written). </li><li>Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other Internet and web-based tools. </li><li>Demonstrated analytical and collaborative problem-solving skills. </li><li>Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal); ability to build rapport and relationships. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Requisition ID: 1000002643 </li><li>Hiring Range: $77,760-$115,000 </li></ul>
