The Soragni Laboratory focuses on translational research at the intersection of cancer biology, engineering, and structural biology. Primary duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Perform cell and tissue culture, cell cloning, and genetic experiments </li><li>Analyze data generated through histology, immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy, and luminescence assays </li><li>Maintain comprehensive records of samples and experiments in a related database </li><li>Develop and implement innovative algorithms for organoid characterization </li><li>Design and execute experiments independently, troubleshoot technical issues, and determine optimal methodologies based on literature and past experience </li><li>Prepare data for scientific presentations, and publications </li><li>Mentor and train staff </li><li>Maintain the Lab's webpage and support access and compliance requirements </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Please note this position is limited and may convert to career.</p> <p>Salary range: $24.28/hr - $48.04/hr</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Data Science or other science related field (highly preferred)</p> <p>In depth experience with R, Python, and SQL</p> <p>Strong computer skills</p> <p>Ability to train and mentor others</p> <p>Ability to stay up to date on technical developments and scientific knowledge</p> <p>Strong critical thinking skills and ability to resourcefully resolve problems</p> <p>Strong understanding and use of technical terminology related to cancer biology</p> <p>Prior experience in standard biochemical procedures (Ex.
