We are currently hiring Registered Nurses for our adult emergency services/crisis stabilization program. Oversees care provided by Licensed Practical Nurses and Behavioral Health Technicians. Utilizes nursing process, including assessment, identification of nursing problems, planning, execution, evaluation, and modification of nursing interventions as determined by patient outcomes.</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Assess the physiological, psychosocial, and environmental needs of patients. </li><li>Implement the plan of care based on nursing standards and practice. </li><li>Evaluate the appropriateness of nursing interventions defined in the plan of care. </li><li>Ensure that Behavioral Health Technicians and Licensed Practical Nurses provide accurate and complete required documentation. </li><li>Demonstrate competency in critical thinking and decision-making skills. </li><li>Monitor staff and the continuous workflow of the unit. </li><li>Share professional and technical knowledge following policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree from an NLN-approved program </li><li>A minimum of one year of psychiatric, mental, and/or behavioral patient care experience. </li><li>Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. </li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, families, employees, and the general public. </li></ul> <p>12 hour shifts within 24/7 inpatient psychiatric care facility</p>
