<p>Student Worker - Fitness Center Attendant</p> <p>Purpose/Objective of the Role:</p> <p>The OWU Athletics Department is looking to hire 2 Fitness Center Attendants.</p> <p>Tasks & Responsibilities:</p> <p>This position serves as the primary customer service representative for the Simpson-Querrey Fitness Center and/or Morrill Strength & Conditioning Room and is responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Greeting and welcoming members/guests with a smile and friendly attitude. </li><li>Upholding, enforcing and clearly communicating rules and regulations of fitness center. </li><li>Performing duties at desks; including, but not limited to checking IDs to ensure proper patron access to facility, rental of recreational equipment, and maintaining user counts. </li><li>Monitoring, organizing and cleaning the fitness center (including workspace); maintaining a presentable environment for users. </li><li>Performing laundry of towels, as well as re-filling equipment cleaning bottles. </li><li>Attending any required meetings or training sessions. </li><li>Regular attendance of assigned shifts. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work mornings, nights or weekends. </li><li>Must possess the physical ability to lift up to 50lbs. </li><li>Previous customer service experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>NOTE:</p> <p>Employment sponsorship is not available for this position.
