The role involves performing assessments, developing care plans, administering medications, and offering crisis intervention while maintaining safety and security within the facility.</p> <p>Requirements / Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications: A current license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications: Experience in assigning, reviewing, leading, or supervising the work of others. Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably with a background in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing. Experience in a correctional or secure healthcare environment is highly preferred.</p> <p>Other: Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance. Will complete four to eight weeks of on the job training. Must submit to background security check. Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the pre-employment medical examination and a drug test.
