We work daily to provide exceptional service to our people, customers, and our communities.</p> <p>We are looking for an Audit Manager or Experienced Senior (3+ years) with Alternative Investment Funds experience to join our team. In this role you will provide audit and attest services to private investment funds for both registered and non-registered investment advisors that manage a variety of funds, including but not limited to, hedge funds, private equity and venture capital funds, private credit funds, SBIC funds, real estate funds, and offshore funds. In addition to private fund audit engagements, this position will provide and oversee audit and custody examination services for the investment advisory firms themselves. Through building strong relationships with your clients, including staying current on industry trends and client needs, you will provide services that extend beyond traditional compliance engagements.</p> <p>Are you the right fit? We would love to hear from you!</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Work and communicate effectively with staff, clients, and third-party fund administrators </li><li>Teach, develop, and oversee staff throughout engagements; delegate assignments and tasks appropriately </li><li>Direct and control engagement planning process to successful completion </li><li>Bottom-line management of assigned engagements and individual productivity opportunities </li><li>Participate in the billing and collection process </li><li>Schedule, staff, and coordinate engagement workflow </li><li>Become a subject-matter expert in one or more technical aspects </li><li>Pursue opportunities to provide additional services; pursue leads; retain clients </li><li>Develop and maintain strong business relationships with individual clients and appropriate financial officers, fund administrators, and industry referral sources. </li><li>Coach and develop staff's understanding of our business and general business world </li><li>Serve as a mentor and role model </li><li>Provide honest, objective and constructive feedback in a timely manner to staff </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 4+ years of recent audit experience at a public accounting firm or an equivalent combination of education and experience with a focus on providing services to alternative investment funds and investment advisory firms. </li><li>Private equity fund experience a plus </li><li>CPA Certification preferred </li><li>Successful experience in managing moderate to high volume of engagements during peak seasons </li><li>Strong oral and written interpersonal skills </li><li>Effective analytical and problem-solving ability </li><li>Experience in hiring, developing, and leading a team of professional auditors </li></ul> <p>WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US</p> <p>We believe that when our employees are able to thrive in all facets of life, their work and impact are that much greater.</p> <p>That's right - all aspects of life, not just your life as an employee, because we understand that there's life beyond your job.
