<p>Position Summary Join the Orlando Health Foundation, where your passion for philanthropy meets our commitment to advancing healthcare in Central Florida. As an integral part of our team, you'll contribute to a long-standing legacy dedicated to partnering with compassionate individuals and organizations to raise crucial funds for Orlando Health. The Foundation Development Associate on the Corporate Giving & Partnerships team at the Orlando Health Foundation will manage a portfolio of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals corporate partners and programs supporting Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. This position is responsible for building relationships with key partner and program contacts as well as the development and execution of year-round fundraising strategies to support each partner or program's philanthropic partnership with Orlando Health Foundation. This position requires 1-2 years of professional experience in fundraising, excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both internal and external groups, a keen attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a strategic mindset. Location - Onsite 3160 Southgate Commerce Blvd Suite 50 Orlando, FL 32806 Schedule Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (Requires flexibility to provide support and/or special event execution on weekends and after hours) Responsibilities Essential Functions • Responsible for building a donor portfolio with the guidance of a supervisor. A portfolio consists of prospects, donors, event interactions, donor visits, dollars requested and dollars received, campaign and service line development, and stewardship efforts. • Manages multiple ongoing areas of responsibility for the benefit of the Orlando Health Foundation. Responsible for managing timelines and strategic planning for assigned events and initiatives. • Works to ensure excellent customer service and working relationship with team members, vendors, community leaders, event sponsors/participants, volunteers and customers (i.e. patient families). • Assist in the creation and writing of donor proposals. • Assist with the development of stewardship plans for major donors and family foundations. • Develops experience supporting a minimum of three areas (i.e. Sustained Giving, Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Grants) of the Foundation. • Assist with managing on-line fundraising campaigns, engage donors through digital mediums via emails and other social media platforms. • Assist in the planning and execution of cultivation events, fundraising events, and tours. • Represent the Foundation at certain Orlando Health Functions, as well as, outside Community Events for the purpose of raising awareness of the Orlando Health Foundation as well as the mission of Orlando Health. Attend a minimum of one event per quarter, with a total of six events per year. • Evaluate and update the donor recognition. • Work and develop relationships with key volunteers to grow and expand fundraising efforts • May be responsible for managing the grant application process including research towards new funding opportunities, applications, post-award. • Maintains regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Other Related Functions • Requiresflexibility to provide development support and/or special event execution on weekends and after hours. • Has access to confidential data that allows for coordinating and organizing assigned responsibilities. • Assists with the planning and preparation of group tours, proposals and presentations as appropriate. • Participates actively to assure compliance in assigned areas of responsibilities. • Regularly analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of all assigned projects. • Proactively seeks process improvement in a solution-focused manner.
