<p>Description</p> <p>Position Details</p> <ul> <li>Department: Labor </li><li>Supervisor's Title: Director of Labor and Organizing </li><li>FLSA Status: Exempt </li><li>Assignment Location: Headquarters-Based (Tualatin/Portland Metro) </li></ul> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>This position necessitates the employee to facilitate and sustain the development of robust and engaged bargaining units. The employee is a member of the Oregon Nurses Association (ONA) labor department, which empowers healthcare workers to advocate for themselves, their patients, their families, and their communities.</p> <p>Hours and Travel</p> <p>The Oregon Nurses Association (ONA) collaborates with healthcare workers operating across the state in 24/7 facilities. Consequently, travel, night shifts, and overnight stays may be required at times.</p> <p>Compensation and Benefits</p> <p>This is a full-time, exempt position. The salary is determined based on applicable years of experience as outlined in the wage scale of the union staff's collective bargaining agreement.</p> <p>ONA offers an annual starting salary range for this position of $81,898 to $127,202, contingent upon experience. The total salary range for this position currently extends from $81,898 to $149,497.70 annually.</p> <p>ONA also provides an exceptional benefits package, which includes total employer coverage (100%) of medical, dental, and vision premiums, as well as employer-paid long and short-term disability and life insurance. Employees have the opportunity to enroll in a 401K plan after six months of employment, which includes a 3% employer contribution, with additional longevity contributions after five years. Union members are also enrolled in a union pension plan.
