<p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Partner with hiring managers and union representatives to fulfill workforce needs </li><li>Administer and maintain compliance with I-9 verification processes, including those for foreign workers in U.S. Territories </li><li>Manage onboarding, new hire orientation, and employment documentation </li><li>Support day-to-day HR operations and respond to employee inquiries </li><li>Maintain HRIS and personnel records in compliance with company and legal standards </li><li>Assist with benefits administration, workers' compensation claims, and open enrollment </li><li>Contribute to employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions </li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of HR generalist experience in Construction or related industries </li><li>Experience working with unions for hiring and labor coordination is required </li><li>Proven experience with foreign worker I-9 verification, especially in U.S. Territories, is required </li><li>Solid knowledge of employment and labor laws (multi-state preferred) </li><li>Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer: We do not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, genetic information, marital status, military status, membership or activity in a local human rights commission, or status with regard to public assistance, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.</p> <p>#LI-ER1</p>
