The company offers a strong firm culture, an excellent compensation plan and the opportunity to work with a great professional team.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Tax Senior will prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership and non-profit tax returns of varying complexities </li><li>Prepare and review underlying tax workpapers </li><li>Perform tax research on client tax matters and provide technical recommendations </li><li>Train and mentor staff accountants </li><li>As a Tax Senior, you will assist in client tax planning and business advisory </li><li>Communicate appropriately with clients, providing excellent service and quick turnaround </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance </li><li>3-5 years of experience working for a certified public accounting firm </li><li>Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations </li><li>Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures </li><li>Professional, driven, and self-motivated </li><li>Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy </li><li>Strong time management skills and ability to work independently </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks </li><li>Ability to collaborate with others on tasks to meet deadlines </li><li>Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment and approaches projects with a sense of urgency </li><li>Preferred: Certified Public Accountant or actively studying and preparing for CPA certification </li></ul>
