<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>The Administrator - Clinic is responsible for managing the daily administrative and technical support sections of a Medical Group clinic in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards. Anticipate and plan for future changes. Make recommendations to improve customer service as appropriate. Oversees a large and/or complex practice(s) such as practice(s) with multiple locations, specialties and/or large number of providers.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Lead day-to-day operations of assigned clinic location(s) to ensure proficient and quality service is delivered within all sections of the clinic; ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. </li><li>Effectively lead, train and develop a team of employees including hiring, training and development, etc. Promotes personal growth/development and understanding among colleagues. </li><li>Presents problems in a professional manner and helps coordinate solutions inter- departmentally. Creatively seeks solutions to existing problems as well as potential problems. Creatively implements solutions to problems. </li><li>Creatively seeks new ideas to stay within budget guidelines while constantly improving the quality of health care delivered. </li><li>Ensures charging/ reimbursement changes are integrated into every level of clinic operations by coordinating with the clinic team. </li><li>Assists with documentation audits. </li><li>Partners with Medical Director to ensure success within the clinic. </li><li>Prepares, monitors, and adjusts budget. </li><li>Develops, implements and monitors clinic objectives, processes, procedures, standards, and educational programs in conjunction with the mission and the philosophy of MercyOne Medical Group. </li><li>Works collaboratively with Medical Group Administration and other leaders to develop, evaluate and monitor standard processes based on best practice. </li><li>Develops and maintains quality assurance programs, i.e. nursing, accounting. </li><li>Proactively analyzes clinic operations to identify barriers or new opportunities. </li><li>Directs the maintenance of physical environment and equipment. </li><li>Serves as liaison between physicians and Medical Group Administration, promoting understanding and agreement in regard to future goals. </li><li>Directs, motivates, and evaluates activities of clinic employees, ensuring that clinic goals and expectations are met. </li><li>Ensures the impact of constant change is positive in nature to employees, patients, and physicians </li><li>Directs clinic in complying with applicable laws and regulations relative to clinic operations (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, COLA, HIPAA, Stark, etc.). </li><li>Ensures that patient concerns are addressed and that appropriate and timely follow-up is performed. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in related field or willing to obtain within 3 years of hire. </li><li>Preferred experience working in an organization of comparable size and complexity, preferably in healthcare. </li><li>Experience managing colleagues in a healthcare setting preferred </li><li>Experience working with physicians and advance practice providers preferred </li><li>Must demonstrate excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form. </li><li>Preferred experience working in an organization of comparable size and complexity, preferably in healthcare. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to adapt to frequently changing work priorities and be able to prioritize and balance the requirements of working with the System Office and Regional Health Ministries (RHMs). </li><li>Must be able to travel to the various MercyOne sites as needed. </li><li>Must be able to effectively analyze, communicate and respond. </li><li>Must reside in one of the MercyOne regional service area(s). </li><li>Position requires high level of mental concentration to attain established deadlines.
