<p>The purpose of this role is to support HR core/essential legal compliance work for the US workforce requiring entry level professional knowledge.</p> <p>Employees at this level work under direct supervision, have beginning to working knowledge, and handle basic issues and problems.</p> <p>This role reports to Mgr, US HR Compliance with frequent partnership with Human Resource department leaders and teams, COEs, internal and external legal counsel, and employees.</p> <p>Accountable to deliver the following essential activities for the US workforce:</p> <ul> <li>Compliance with Local Employment Requirements </li></ul> <p>o Supports processes for I-9 compliance, E-Verify, and monitoring legal status for international students and foreign workers</p> <p>o Supports processes for all US legal compliance for employment laws and regulations</p> <ul> <li>Disability Accommodation Review and Administration </li></ul> <p>o Support ADA processes for legal compliance with mandated state and local disability laws</p> <ul> <li>Response to Subpoenas </li><li>Legally Required Leave Administration </li></ul> <p>o Support compliance for federally (FMLA), state, and locally mandated leaves.</p> <ul> <li>Training and Support for Managers </li><li>Legal Employment Eligibility </li><li>Governmental/Court Employment Verifications </li></ul> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related field or any combination of equivalent education and work experience </li><li>Beginning to working knowledge of HR legal compliance </li><li>Familiarity of best practices of HR functions. </li><li>Key skills and core competencies include the ability to: </li></ul> <p>o Be organized with strong attention to detail</p> <p>o Manage and prioritize multiple deliverables effectively</p> <p>o Demonstrate strong time management skills</p> <p>o Deliver excellent customer service</p> <p>o Problem solve and provide effective solutions</p> <p>o Communicate effectively in writing and verbally</p> <p>o Apply policy and law to business situations</p> <p>o Collaborate and work effectively in a team</p> <p>To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for extended periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment.</p>
