<p>Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations - Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center, and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York - plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Data Engineer III role is responsible for the technical implementation of the reporting and analytic tools across Nuvance Health. The work of this team will be to set & establish data reporting standards, tools, and content aligned with the strategic needs of the company. This position will be responsible for the transformation of data from internal and external sources to provide timely, meaningful, and actionable insight to clinical teams and leaders to drive organizational improvement. The role requires collaboration with end-users throughout the organization to determine information and data needs, conceptualize, design, and develop data visualization solutions into clear communications for key stakeholders and decision-makers.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>The ability to discuss and gather data requirements from multiple categories of stakeholders and translate them into concise actionable tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience operationalizing advanced analytical and data science models to deliver impactful results to the right audience at the right time</p> </li><li> <p>The ability to extract, query, transform, visualize, and interpret data on multiple platforms</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand business needs/issues, troubleshoot problems, conduct root cause analysis, and develop cost-effective resolutions for data anomalies</p> </li><li> <p>Serves as a team leader within a workgroup or on cross-functional teams; accepts team lead stretch assignments, acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Presents to the broader senior leadership team. Understands other business units and how they affect the team and work.</p> </li><li> <p>Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes</p> </li><li> <p>Apply quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers all while supporting data-driven decision making. Use technical skills, problem-solving, and business knowledge to deliver custom datasets to clients that meet or exceed their expectations Implement proactive improvements to processes and methods for gathering and aggregating data. Find creative solutions to problems when limited information is available</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in continually improving processes and procedures for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Data Engineering services to analytic users.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with data architecture</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with technology and platform management partners to optimize data sourcing and processing rules to ensure appropriate data quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and Model Nuvance Health Values.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as required.</p> </li></ol> <p>Other information:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced programming experience in SQL database </li><li>SSIS experience required </li><li>Tableau experience preferred </li><li>Working knowledge of EMR systems including but not limited to system-wide hospital or ambulatory information systems. </li><li>Applied knowledge of project management delivery, capital, and operational budgeting </li><li>Ability to partner with executive stakeholders and customers </li></ul> <p>License, Registration, or Certification Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced certification in Tableau preferred </li></ul> <p>Location: Danbury-100 Reserve Road</p> <p>Work Type: Full-Time</p> <p>Standard Hours: 40.00</p> <p>FTE: 1.000000</p> <p>Work Schedule: Day 8</p> <p>Work Shift: M-F 8a-5p</p> <p>Org Unit: 636</p> <p>Department: Data Management and Analytics Organization</p> <p>Exempt: Yes</p> <p>Grade: S12</p> <p>Working conditions:</p> <p>Essential:</p> <ul> <li>Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity </li><li>Little or no potential for occupational risk </li><li>Medium to Heavy effort.
