<p>Overview</p> <p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, installation, calibration, repair, and modification of equipment and systems. </li><li>Solve technical problems in accordance with prescribed specifications. </li><li>Conduct laboratory and shipboard work. </li><li>Conduct submarine ship checks to determine the necessary efforts to seamlessly install systems onboard a platform. </li><li>Draft Memorandums of Agreement, Work Authorization Forms, System Tagouts and Controlled work packages. </li><li>Provide technical input and review for developing new Temporary Alterations (TempAlts), Operational Alterations (OpAlts) and Ship Alterations (ShipAlts). </li><li>Author detailed reports. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to obtain a secret clearance </li><li>U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance </li><li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>At least 6+ years of experience working with sonar systems as a sonar technician in the Navy </li></ul> <p>Pay Transparency Statement</p> <p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $65,700.00/Yr. - USD $109,700.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
