<p>Description</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The FAT Technician reports to the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure successful Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and finished products meet the requirements of drawings and Feldmeier Equipment SOPs. The hours of this job are specific to the job being completed in a timely and efficient manner based off production and scheduling needs.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Essential Functions of Position:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure all parts and components are moved to testing area prior to start of FAT </li><li>Perform assembly and pre-FAT inspection of equipment prior to customer arrival </li><li>Provide customers with professional assistance on overall FAT experience </li><li>Work with production staff, Quality, and Engineering </li><li>Coordinate and execute all testing as specified in FAT protocols to ensure compliance with Codes and Standards and Feldmeier SOPs. Testing includes drawing verifications, surface finish measurements, mechanical testing of accessories (agitation), and water / spray device testing using calibrated equipment </li><li>Communicate concerns to the Corporate Quality Assurance Manager and Plant Manager </li><li>Assist with closure of punch list items prior to shipping prep </li><li>Other duties as assigned to ensure efficient factory acceptance testing, tank shipment, and raw material receipt occur </li><li>Complete cross training in other areas to help with vacation coverage as needed </li><li>Comply with all Feldmeier safety and Company policies and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Willingness to obtain and maintain a power industrial vehicle permit </li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings for final assembly </li><li>Good oral communication skills and ability to communicate with customers </li><li>Good organizational skills </li><li>Experience using basic hand tools required for assembly </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience with Epicor our ERP system. </li><li>Electrical experience for wiring high and low voltage components </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day. </li><li>Occasional lifting, carrying, and maneuvering up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and platforms for elevated work. </li><li>Walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, balancing, stooping, lie down inside or under vessel and twisting while performing required job tasks. </li><li>Being mindful of chemical safety and use proper PPE when required. </li><li>Ability to handle stress and fast paces environment. </li></ul> <p>Job Title: FAT Technician Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager</p> <p>Classification: Non- Exempt Pay Range: $20.00 to 31.50</p>
